Google recently announced that they would stop supporting API keyless usage of Google maps, meaning that any request that doesn’t include an API key is no longer supported.
The good news!
Whilst Google now wants a credit card on file to issue an API key, most users (unless you are Uber etc) will still have full access to Google Maps at no cost.
